1.   Enrolled as Advocate on 09.11.1975

2.   Joined the Judicial Service as Munsiff on 09.09.1985.

3.   Worked as Munsiff till 1991,

4.   as assistant Sessions and Sub Judge till 1999.

5.   as Chief Judicial Magistrate till 2000,

6.   as District and Sessions Judge till 2009,

7.   as Law Secretary till 2011.

8.   as State Election Commissioner Kerala,which is a Constitutional Post having the status, salary and allowance that as of a Judge of High Court, from 18.04.2011 till 19.02.2016 ,

9.   Now working as Vice Chairman Law Reforms Commission from 05.04.2017.
