Academic Qualifications:

1.   Graduated in Law from Mangalore University in the year, 1983, with Seventh Rank.

2.   Graduated in B.com from University of Calicut in the year 1980, with First Class.

Positions held:

1.   Enrolled as Advocate on 14.08.1983 and started practice at Ottapalam Bar till 1989 and was the first women Advocate in the Ottapalam Bar.

2.   Became Ottapalam Panchayat member and thereafter Ottapalam Municipality Councilor, and served the Municipality in that capacity for 3 years.

3.   Got selection as Magistrate during 1990, after training posted as Magistrate, Palakkad in February 1991

4.   Worked as Munsiff, Thrissur, Perinthalmanna and Kozhikode

5.   Thereafter worked as Sub Judge at Thrissur, Kochi and Irinjalakuda.

6.   Worked as Chief Judicial Magistrate at Thalassery.

7.   Joined Higher Judicial Service as District Judge, Thalassery in 2010

8.   Thereafter worked as Addl.District Judge, Thalassery, Family Court Thalassery, MACT Ernakulam, Registrar at Central Administrative Tribunal.

9.   Retired as Principal District Judge, Thalassery in April, 2020

Post Retirement:

1.   Chairman, Local Complaints Committee, Palakkad, Prevention of Sexual Harrassment in working places May-2021

2.   President, Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Lakshadweep May 2022-April 2025
